Dear Valued Patients & Friends,
On behalf of me and my entire staff, I want you to know how much we appreciate your friendship, support, and trust in our practice. As many of you know, this practice has been a staple of my family’s legacy for many years, and we have enjoyed every moment serving this community. Amidst much thought and prayer, my family and I have made the decision to transition to a new city this coming summer, and this letter is to announce the change of ownership of the practice. This decision is aided by the fact that I have found an excellent dentist to take over, and I am pleased to announce that Dr. Joshua Meador will assume ownership of my practice.
A Texas native, Dr. Meador began working in dentistry at a young age and has spent more than a decade caring for patients in a variety of clinical settings. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M College of Dentistry after completing his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University. His background in dentistry, from assisting early in his career to advanced restorative care as a general dentist, has shaped a calm and thorough approach to treatment. Dr. Meador believes strongly in building trust through listening, clear communication, and individualized care. He enjoys all areas of general dentistry, with a particular interest in family and cosmetic dentistry, and focuses on helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental care decisions. Outside of the office, Dr. Meador enjoys spending time with his wife, Gwendolyn, and their two young children, Evelyn and Harrison. The Meador family is proud to call Lubbock home and is excited to step into a leadership role within the community.
I am proud to be handing off my practice to a knowledgeable and caring doctor who is committed to my philosophy of providing excellent dentistry for my patients. Dr. Meador is a man of integrity and poise, and I have full confidence that this practice will continue to thrive under his leadership. I also take comfort knowing that the incredible team you already know and love will continue working in the practice, providing you with the same care and service you have grown accustomed to. No changes are planned to your current care, insurance participation, or appointment scheduling. I am grateful for all the patients and friends I have gotten to know since working in this practice. Thank you for being part of my life and for continuing to support Dr. Meador and I during this transition. We look forward to seeing you at your next appointment!
